Earlier this Year Wicklow County Arts Office initated the development of a new brand to promote handmade crafts in the County Absolutely Wicklow. This was in partnership with Wicklow County Enterprise Board and Year of Craft 2011 Crafts Council of Ireland funding. There are 16 fab makers in the brand fashioning goods exclusively handmade in County Wicklow.

Bray Town Council under Bray Economic Think Tank have generously supported the project opening and running Absolutely Wicklow Retail Design Centre in the Old Heritage Centre at the bottom of Main Street Bray. At Absolutely Wicklow Retail Design Centre, you can pick up local handmade gifts for Christmas, or just to complement that Christmas Outfit! The majority of products retailing at the centre range in price from €5 to €130. So if you are passing by Bray drop in and visit the shop!
